About PTW

Experience combined with innovation

As an in-house formulator, PTW produces semi-finished products and moulded parts from compact cast elastomers in the hot-casting process.

We produce and finish on a total area of approx. 4,500 m². Production takes place in three shifts.

All production-relevant data is recorded and mapped in a PPS (production planning and control system) specially developed for the company. All necessary production steps are thus also subject to a tailor-made quality assurance system.

DEKRA has certified this consistent development towards efficiency-optimised and transparent work processes. The quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 was successfully implemented and the efficient use of the QM system since 2003 has been confirmed with an excellent result. Our efforts in terms of environmentally friendly production and waste prevention resulted in successful certification under DIN ISO 14001:2015.

We can carry out and monitor most of the subsequent processing steps ourselves. This product finishing is carried out centrally in a specially constructed hall.

Another innovation in the production plant area is the integration of several sheet centrifuges produced in special machine construction. Centrifuged products are characterised by particularly good homogeneity.

As an in-house formulator, we are particularly flexible and efficient because we operate independently from PU casting system manufacturers. This allows us to respond quickly to all special customer and material requirements.

Our current product portfolio currently comprises several tens of thousands of articles and is showing steady growth. Our in-house development is quick to create solutions for new requirements.

We focus particularly on both the production of moulded parts that, due to their size, can no longer be produced with machine casting, and on the development of special solutions for all branches of industry.
